We are sad to report we lost three of our members in May.

JOSEPHINE PAGES MORSE  was one of the great ladies of Estepona and a “true original”. She was a charter member of ACE.  She contributed much to the club over the many years she lived in Spain and served in a number of capacities on the committee. Jo was born and grew up in New York City and led somewhat of a charmed life.  She was a wonderful character and great friend who always told you what she thought—which was often very wise.  Because of her health, she has not been to Estepona for several years, but those of us who knew her will miss her very much.  She will have St. Peter sorted out in no time!

 

LEON FUHRER  only lived in Estepona a few years and had returned to the US because of ill health. He was also a New Yorker and a very bright man and avid reader at ACE.  We will also miss him.

 

PEARL REDDIN was not well known in the club as she has been in ill health for some time, but we are saddened at her passing.

 

We were pleased to have two visiting Americans  from Florida in the Club during May and June—GEORGE & CARMEN CANNON.  We hope we made you feel welcome.

 

It was great to have RAY & DOLORES JENKINSON  here for their spring visit. Look forward to seeing you again in September.

 

We also say good-by to the MASSMANS’ & THE DOSTERS’  always contribute to the club when they are here.  See you next year too!
